 Hello Makaimura fans !

Here's the latest news on the development of Ghosts 'n Goblins 2.

I've decided to bring you the final version for the 40th anniversary month of Ghosts 'n Goblins. Fans will know that GnG was released in arcades in September 1985...

So it's in September 2025 that I'll be posting my tribute to CAPCOM's wonderful game...back when CAPCOM knew how to innovate in the world of video games.

The game is 90% finished, and I'm also working hard on a graphical overhaul of what I proposed in the downloadable demo (download tab).  There are many more levels, of course.
On the other hand, the difficulty of the game and the AI of the opponents still need to be fine-tuned.
In short, it's not over yet, and I intend to do an exemplary job.

For those who are worried, I can only say one thing: “We're almost there! ”

Voici les dernières nouvelles du développement de Ghosts 'n Goblins 2.

J'ai décidé de vous proposer la version finale pour le mois d'anniversaire des 40 ans de Ghosts'n Goblins. Les plus fans d'entre vous savent que GnG est sorti dans les salles d'arcade en septembre 1985...

C'est bien donc en septembre 2025 que je vous posterai mon hommage au merveilleux jeu de CAPCOM...du temps où CAPCOM  savait innover dans le monde des jeux vidéos.

Le jeu est terminé à 90% et je m'acharne aussi à faire une refonte graphique de ce que je vous ai proposé dans la démo ici téléchargeable (onglet download).  Il y a aussi beaucoup plus de niveaux bien sûr.
D'autre part,  il reste à régler la difficulté du jeu et l' IA des adversaires .
Bref, ce n'est pas fini et je compte rendre un travail exemplaire.

Pour ceux qui s'inquiètent, je ne dirais qu'une chose : "on est bientôt arrivé ! "

Hi everybody ! Missing some connections between levels. 11 levels x 2 : yes, always one loop more to finish the game : what did you expect, this game is only for hardcore gamers !

The finishes are longer than planned, BUT the work is ongoing !

Oni level... and too short list for (A)ctors.

Hello everybody.
Here is some new screenshots.








This project grows more and more and so the target date is very hard to define.
But don't worry : my challenge is to end this project in 2015, for the 30 th anniversary of Ghosts'n Goblins.
It will be my tribute for all of GnG's fans. And sure : this game will be TOTALLY free.

Message for Master Bruneras : the Max (A)ctors are going to be reach (357/359)  and the max (S)pritesets too (349/359). More, the (A)ctors List is very messy (I lost many time to find my objects).


 Don't you have time to code a "sort list" function in ARGS ? (and an extended capacity for Max Actors  ?). It will be very cool for ARGS.
